In 1970, Joanne Licsko had intended to enroll in art college, but her priorities changed when she met, and later married
internationally collected artist Frank Licsko. He encouraged her to paint, and mentored her technical skills.
In the 1990's, Joanne resumed painting full time after their children were grown.
Since, she has won many awards, and has participated in numerous juried shows
throughout the US and Canada.
Collectors value her work for its elegance, and the attention to detail. She is best
known for her still life and figure studies. There is currently a growing demand for her over-sized
paintings of wine, glasses, and bottles.
